Remote sites are highly susceptible to GPR from lightning ground strikes or high voltage transmission faults that produce severe fault current across the earth's surface.

Grounding and surge protection are bi-directional and will conduct severe voltage rise on the site ground to the AC neutral - exposing the rectifier and communication electronics.
GPR Protection blocks this fault path by temporarily disconnecting the AC circuit for the duration of the fault event - the fault current is forced to dissipate in the site grounding system. Continuous operations are maintained on resident battery power, and AC is automatically restored after the threat has passed.

GPR Protection assures higher reliability and lower maintenance cost - protection that pays for itself in the next lightning storm.
